STORY

The Regata was Fiat's three-box saloon on the Ritmo platform, built in Italy from August 1983 until early 1990, when the Tipo-based Tempra replaced it. The Weekend estate joined in autumn 1984. European petrol engines made roughly 65 to 100 PS and the diesels 58 to 80 PS. It replaced the 131 saloon from September 1983. Argentine production continued until 1995. SEAT sold a close relative, the Malaga, as its own model.
