178 1.4 Fire Flex

STORY

This Siena is the South American Fiat sedan, not an Italian market car. The 178 was the four-door Palio sedan: Fiat's new plant in Córdoba, Argentina, started building it in December 1996, and it reached Brazil in 1997. The Grand Siena (326) was shown to Latin American press in Santiago in March 2012, on the new Palio platform with a wheelbase of about 2,510 mm, 137 mm longer than before, and 1.4 Fire Evo and 1.6 E.torQ engines of 85 and 115 cv. It left the Brazilian range at the end of 2021, when the Proconve L7 emissions rules took effect, having lost ground since the Cronos arrived.
