STORY

The Stilo reached European showrooms in October 2001, replacing the Bravo and Brava on a new C-segment platform. Among its fastest versions was the Abarth with the 2.4-litre five-cylinder, originally rated 170 PS with the Selespeed paddle-shift gearbox. Fiat advertised it with Michael Schumacher and Rubens Barrichello, yet sales disappointed. A facelift followed in 2004, and Italian production ended in 2007, when a new Bravo took over in Europe.
