STORY

The Fiat Talento sold from 2016 is a Renault Trafic with Fiat trim. The arrangement was agreed in 2014, and in September 2014 the planned volume was put at 100,000 vans a year from Renault's Sandouville plant in France, on a new line due to start in the second quarter of 2016. Fiat Professional showed the Talento in spring 2016 as the replacement for the PSA-built Scudo, with orders due to open in May 2016. In October 2021 Fiat Professional announced that the Talento would give way to a new Scudo built by Stellantis. The visible changes were the Fiat grille and bumper and the steering wheel badge, and the diesel engines were Renault units sold under the Multijet name, with twin-turbo versions at the top.
