STORY

Ford showed the production B-Max at the Geneva show on March 5, 2012. It was built on the Fiesta platform, 11 cm longer than the five-door Fiesta, and its Easy Access Door System paired hinged front doors with sliding rear ones, with the centre pillar built into the doors and an opening over 1.5 m wide. Assembly started at Craiova, Romania, in June 2012; launch engines included the 1.0-litre EcoBoost in 100 PS and 120 PS. The last B-Max left Craiova on September 1, 2017, making room for the EcoSport.
