STORY

The Ford Falcon GT-HO was a homologation-special performance version of the Australian Falcon built to dominate touring-car racing, particularly the Bathurst 500. The 1971 XY GT-HO Phase III, powered by a 351 Cleveland V8, was among the fastest four-door sedans in the world at the time and won the 1971 Bathurst race. It became a highly collectible Australian muscle car after the planned Phase IV was cancelled amid the 1972 'supercar scare.'
