Series production of the Pobeda began in 1946. It had a monocoque body, and its front suspension was influenced by that of the 1938 Opel Kapitän. The 2.1-litre four-cylinder engine made 50 PS. Production was halted for a time because of build-quality problems and then resumed. The car was updated in 1955 as the M20V, and the GAZ-21 Volga replaced it in 1956.
The GAZ-M20 Pobeda was a Soviet saloon built from 1946 to 1958. It had a monocoque body and a 2.1-litre four-cylinder engine.
