Atlas

2016 – present

The Atlas is Geely's compact SUV, sold in China as the Boyue and one of the brand's best-sellers worldwide. It is a five-seat crossover built on Geely's earlier compact-SUV platform, offered with petrol engines, including a turbocharged 1.8-liter, and later a mild-hybrid 1.5-liter turbo. Positioned as a value family SUV, it became a main part of Geely's export push across Asia, the Middle East, and Latin America.

The Story

Why the Atlas matters

The Atlas is a compact-to-midsize SUV that launched in China in 2016 as the Boyue and is sold abroad as the Atlas. It is built on a Geely platform. It became one of Geely's main export models, sold in Russia, the Middle East and Southeast Asia, and assembled locally in several markets including Belarus. A facelifted Boyue Pro arrived in 2019 with a bolder grille and updated infotainment. A fully redesigned second-generation model on the CMA platform followed.
