STORY

Cityray is the export name of the Chinese Boyue Cool, a compact SUV with a 1.5-litre turbo four. The Boyue Cool launched on 26 April 2023 in four versions at 102,800 to 125,800 yuan. The Chinese engine is rated at 133 kW and 290 N·m, with 7.9 s to 100 km/h, and the car measures 4,510 mm long. Geely announced the Cityray for Russia on 10 September 2024 and reported the start of sales there on 15 October 2024, with the engine at 147 hp, from 2,699,990 rubles. The UAE version, reported in April 2025, lists 174 hp, so ratings differ by market.
