Geely's CK was already on sale in China when the maker showed it at the Frankfurt show in September 2005, where it was called the Freedom Ship. It was sold in Russia as the Otaka. In October 2010 Latin NCAP's first test round gave the CK1 saloon without airbags zero stars for adult occupants, and the body shell was judged too weak for airbags to help. Geely built the CK until 2016.
