Emgrand L went on sale in China on 31 December 2021 as a reworked Emgrand GL. It had a 1.4-litre turbo with 141 PS and 235 N·m and a CVT on the GL's 2,700 mm wheelbase, and pre-sale prices of 99,900 to 109,900 yuan for two versions were reported on 27 December 2021. On 13 July 2023 Geely put the Hi·P Champion Edition on sale at 109,800 and 122,800 yuan, a plug-in with a 1.5-litre turbo, a 3-speed DHT Pro gearbox, 181 kW and 610 N·m combined, and claimed 100 km of electric range (cycle not stated), 1,300 km combined and 3.8 L/100 km.
Reworked Emgrand GL sedan launched in China in December 2021 with a 1.4-litre turbo; the Hi·P plug-in hybrid followed in 2023.
