Geely showed the GLEagle GC5 sedan at the Beijing show in April 2010 as the four-door sibling of the Englon SC5-RV hatchback, aimed at family buyers below 100,000 yuan. In November 2010 the press expected the hatchback on sale that month, with a reported date of 11 November, and the sedan in early 2011. Those were forecasts, and no exact start date or price for the GC5 is confirmed. One source says the hatchback was listed in early 2011. Reports named 1.3 and 1.5-litre petrol engines, with an automatic only on the 1.5.
