The GLEagle GC7 went on sale in China on 15 December 2011 with a 1.8-litre petrol engine rated at 139 hp and 102 kW, in six trims priced from 66,900 to 89,900 yuan. A June 2011 report expected listing in September, so the car arrived about three months later. The 1.8 DVVT version carried a six-speed automatic, and a 1.5-litre engine was announced as a later addition; the 2012 model year lists show 1.5-litre cars. Press estimates before launch put the price at 60,000 to 100,000 yuan, wider than the final range.
GLEagle GC7 compact sedan launched in China in December 2011 with a 1.8-litre petrol engine, later reworked as the New Vision.
