STORY

The Galaxy Starship 7 EM-i, a compact plug-in hybrid SUV, went on sale in China on 6 December 2024 in five trims with 55 or 120 km of CLTC electric range. It is 4,740 mm long on a 2,755 mm wheelbase and uses a 1.5-litre engine with Geely's EM-i hybrid system. Geely quotes more than 1,400 km combined and 3.75 L/100 km on a depleted battery. In September 2025 the car began assembly in Indonesia as the Starray EM-i, and on 19 November 2025 a 2026 model year version arrived with a 175 kW motor and 130 or 135 km CLTC range.
