STORY

Geely showed the Preface concept at Auto Shanghai on 16 April 2019 and revealed the production sedan as the Xingrui at the Beijing show on 26 September 2020. Sales began on 1 November 2020 at 113,700 to 149,700 yuan in four trims, all with Volvo's Drive-E 2.0-litre turbo rated at 140 kW and 300 N·m and a seven-speed wet dual-clutch gearbox. The body is 4,785 mm long on a 2,800 mm wheelbase, on the CMA platform that Geely first used for the Xingyue. A 2023 model year had presale prices from 127,700 yuan from 8 July 2022, with launch set for 18 July, and kept the 190 PS 2.0T. Outside China it is known as the Preface, the name of the 2019 concept.
