Geometry A was the first model of Geely's Geometry electric brand, revealed on 11 April 2019 at an event in Singapore. It used a 120 kW motor with 250 N·m, a CATL battery of 51.9 or 61.9 kWh, and NEDC ranges of 410 and 500 km. Chinese prices ran from 210,000 to 250,000 yuan before subsidies and 150,000 to 190,000 yuan after them. Geely said it had 27,000 orders at the reveal, 18,000 of them from overseas. The brand's second model, the Geometry C, followed in 2020. In February 2021 Geely announced an A Pro, and reports citing filing data suggested a 150 kW motor and a 600 km NEDC range as likely.
The Geometry A is a compact battery-electric sedan and the debut model of Geely's Geometry EV sub-brand, launched in 2019. It offers front-wheel-drive electric powertrains with multiple battery-range options. Positioned as an electric family sedan, the Geometry A marked Geely's dedicated push into mainstream EVs.
