STORY

The G70 launched in 2017 as Genesis's compact sport sedan. It shares its rear-drive platform with the Kia Stinger and was aimed at the BMW 3 Series and Audi A4. It came with a turbocharged four-cylinder or a twin-turbo V6, and reviewers praised its firm chassis. MotorTrend named it Car of the Year for 2019. A 2021 facelift brought the brand's split-headlight 'Two Lines' design and, in some markets, a manual gearbox option and a Sport package.
