The GV60 Performance is a five-seat electric SUV sold from 2021. Dual motors make 489 PS and 700 Nm and drive all four wheels through a single-speed transmission. It reaches 100 km/h in 4.0 seconds and 235 km/h flat out. The 489 PS (360 kW) peak is available only in Boost Mode, which lasts 10 seconds; normal output is 435 PS (320 kW).

STORY

The GV60 is Genesis's first dedicated battery-electric vehicle. It was revealed in 2021 on Hyundai Motor Group's 800-volt E-GMP platform, shared with the Ioniq 5 and Kia EV6. It is styled as a sleek electric crossover coupe and offers dual-motor all-wheel drive and an available Performance model with a Boost mode. Unusual features include a rotating 'Crystal Sphere' shifter and face and fingerprint recognition. It showed Genesis's commitment to an all-electric future.
