STORY

The Hover (Haval H3/H5 in later markets) was Great Wall's breakthrough SUV, launched in 2005 as an affordable body-on-frame crossover with styling influenced by Japanese SUVs like the Isuzu Axiom. It offered rugged capability and a low price that made it a strong seller both in China and across export markets from Australia to Eastern Europe.
