The EX-T was the launch-period turbo coupe of the tenth-generation US Civic, sold 2016 to 2017. A 1.5 L turbocharged four-cylinder rated at 174 hp drives the front wheels through a CVT. The EX-T label was dropped after 2017 and the grade became the plain EX.

STORY

The Honda Civic debuted in 1972 as a fuel-efficient subcompact and was pivotal to Honda's global expansion, notably with its low-emission CVCC engine that met U.S. Clean Air standards without a catalytic converter. It has grown across eleven generations from a subcompact into a compact car offered in hatchback, sedan, and coupe forms, and remains one of the best-selling nameplates in Honda's history.
