Civic LX (FC)

10th gen (FC/FK) · 2016–2019FWD

The LX is the plain end of the tenth-generation Civic (FC) sedan range in international trim, offered from 2016 to 2019. Instead of the turbocharged 1.5 L found higher up, it carries a naturally aspirated 2.0 L four-cylinder petrol engine, front-wheel drive and a manual gearbox. It suits buyers who wanted the new platform without a turbo.

STORY

The Honda Civic debuted in 1972 as a fuel-efficient subcompact and was pivotal to Honda's global expansion, notably with its low-emission CVCC engine that met U.S. Clean Air standards without a catalytic converter. It has grown across eleven generations from a subcompact into a compact car offered in hatchback, sedan, and coupe forms, and remains one of the best-selling nameplates in Honda's history.
