The tall, boxy body gives a large rear space, and a four-wheel-drive wagon was sold alongside from 1985. Its larger rear space makes it useful where the hatchback and sedan are too small.

STORY

The Honda Civic debuted in 1972 as a fuel-efficient subcompact and was pivotal to Honda's global expansion, notably with its low-emission CVCC engine that met U.S. Clean Air standards without a catalytic converter.
