In the US, the fourth-generation CR-V came with one engine, the 2.4 L i-VTEC four-cylinder rated at 185 hp and 220 N m. This front-wheel-drive version, sold from 2012 to 2016, sends power through an automatic gearbox. It is the lighter and cheaper alternative to the all-wheel-drive car.
