STORY

The Accord Crosstour was a five-door crossover built on the eighth-generation Accord platform. American Honda announced it on 3 November 2009 for a 20 November debut as a 2010 model, assembled at the East Liberty plant in Ohio with a 3.5-litre V6 rated at 271 horsepower. For the 2012 model year Honda dropped the Accord prefix, and a 2.4-litre four-cylinder joined the range in early 2012. On 8 April 2015 Honda announced that production would end after the 2015 model year, saying the HR-V and a shift in the segment were reshaping its lineup and plant capacity. In China the Crosstour was built and sold by the GAC Honda joint venture, which opened sales on 30 October 2010 at 398,800 to 428,800 yuan for the V6.
