The del Sol S is the base version of Honda's two-seat targa-roof car, sold from 1993 to 1997. It started with a 1.5 L four-cylinder petrol engine making 102 hp and 133 N m. The roof panel is removable and stows in the boot. It was aimed at buyers who wanted the open-air look more than speed.

STORY

The Honda CR-X del Sol was a front-engine, front-wheel-drive targa-top two-seater sold from 1992 as the successor to the CR-X. It featured a removable roof panel that stowed in the trunk, with a power-operated TransTop system offered on some markets that automatically stowed the roof. It was discontinued in 1998 without a direct replacement.
