The Advance is the upper grade of the e:Ny1, Honda's compact electric SUV for Europe, on sale since 2023. A 68.8 kWh battery feeds a front motor producing 204 PS and 310 N m through a single-speed transmission. It adds equipment to the Elegance, with the same drivetrain.

STORY

The e:Ny1 was Honda's European electric crossover, a Dongfeng Honda product that reached Europe as the counterpart of the Chinese e:NS1. Honda showed it as a prototype in March 2022 and revealed the production car at a media event in Germany on 12 May 2023, with a 150 kW (204 PS) motor, a 68.8 kWh battery and up to 412 km on the WLTP cycle. UK prices were announced on 31 July 2023, from 44,995 pounds on the road for the entry car and from 47,195 for the Elegance and Advance trims, with order books due in late October. In April 2026 the e:Ny1 disappeared from the configurators in several European markets, including Germany, Italy and Spain, while it could still be configured in France and Austria, and a Honda UK spokesperson said the car would take no new orders once remaining stock was sold.
