STORY

Honda put the Elysion on sale in Japan on 13 May 2004 as its new flagship minivan, an eight-passenger model on a low-floor platform, with a 3.0-litre V6 that ran on three cylinders under light load and a 2.4-litre four. A facelift came on 21 December 2006, and the Elysion Prestige with a 3.5-litre V6 of 300 PS (279 PS in 4WD) went on sale on 25 January 2007. Honda's Japanese archive lists the plain Elysion until May 2012 and the Prestige until October 2013. In China, Dongfeng Honda launched the Elysion at the Shenzhen-Hong Kong-Macau show on 7 June 2012, as three 2.4-litre versions priced at 283,800 to 319,800 yuan.
