The GE9 gives the 1.5 L second-generation Fit in Japan four-wheel drive. Sold from 2007 to 2013 as the 15X 4WD, it has a four-cylinder rated at 120 PS and an automatic gearbox. It differs from the front-drive GE8 by also driving the rear wheels.

STORY

The Honda Fit (Jazz in many markets) is a B-segment subcompact launched in 2001, built around Honda's center-tank layout that places the fuel tank under the front seats to free up cabin and cargo space. Its signature Magic Seats allow multiple flexible folding configurations, and it has become one of Honda's global best-sellers across four generations. Hybrid versions have been offered from the second generation onward.
