STORY

Grace was the name Honda used in Japan for a sedan built on the City sold in Thailand and other markets. Honda began selling it on 1 December 2014 as a hybrid with a 1.5-litre Atkinson-cycle engine and a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox with a motor, rated 34.4 km/L on the JC08 cycle for the front-drive HYBRID DX and LX. Honda said, by its own research as of October 2014, that it was the first compact hybrid sedan in the 5-number size class with a 4WD version. A petrol LX with a 1.5-litre direct-injection engine and CVT joined on 19 June 2015. A facelift reached dealers in July 2017, and Honda's Japanese archive lists the Grace until July 2020.
