The second-generation Legend sedan for Japan, sold from 1990 to 1995, used a 3.2-litre V6 producing 215 PS, with front-wheel drive and a four-speed automatic. The Japanese range was topped by the Alpha grade and a two-door coupe was offered alongside the sedan. The Legend was a front-drive luxury sedan with the engine mounted longitudinally.

STORY

The Honda Legend, sold as the Acura RL/Legend in North America, was Honda's flagship sedan first introduced in 1985. Later generations pioneered Honda's Super Handling All-Wheel Drive and Sport Hybrid SH-AWD systems. The final KC2 generation became the world's first production car type-approved for SAE Level 3 automated driving with Honda Sensing Elite in 2021.
