Legend 3.5 Alpha was sold in Japan from 1998 to 2004 as part of the third generation. A 3.5-litre V6 petrol engine produces 215 PS, driving the front wheels through an automatic. Alpha is a named grade of the KA9 sedan, not a separate engine.

STORY

The Honda Legend, sold as the Acura RL/Legend in North America, was Honda's flagship sedan first introduced in 1985. Later generations pioneered Honda's Super Handling All-Wheel Drive and Sport Hybrid SH-AWD systems. The final KC2 generation became the world's first production car type-approved for SAE Level 3 automated driving with Honda Sensing Elite in 2021.
