Third-generation HR-V for the US with all-wheel drive, sold from 2023 on the Civic platform. The 2.0-litre four-cylinder makes 158 hp and 187 N m through a CVT, with torque sent to the rear axle when needed. Body and engine are shared with the front-drive 2.0 model.

STORY

The Honda HR-V debuted in 1998 as an early compact crossover on the Logo/Civic platform, then was discontinued in 2006. The nameplate returned in 2015 with a new model derived from the Fit and sold in Japan as the Vezel, followed by a third generation in 2021. It has grown into one of Honda's key global compact SUVs.
