The Mobilio i-DTEC was the diesel version of the second-generation MPV in India, offered from 2014 to 2017. Its 1.5 L four-cylinder produces 200 N m, driving the front wheels through a manual gearbox. The torque is far above the 145 N m of the petrol i-VTEC beside it.

STORY

The Honda Mobilio is a compact MPV first sold in Japan from 2001 on the Fit-derived GB platform with a tall body and sliding doors. The nameplate was revived in 2014 for emerging markets, notably Indonesia, based on the Brio platform as a low-cost seven-seater. The two generations served quite different markets.
