The Mobilio i-VTEC was the petrol version of the second-generation MPV in India, sold from 2014 to 2017. Its 1.5 L four-cylinder gives 145 N m through a manual gearbox to the front wheels. A diesel i-DTEC sat beside it in the Indian range, with higher torque.

STORY

The Honda Mobilio is a compact MPV first sold in Japan from 2001 on the Fit-derived GB platform with a tall body and sliding doors. The nameplate was revived in 2014 for emerging markets, notably Indonesia, based on the Brio platform as a low-cost seven-seater. The two generations served quite different markets.
