The Mobilio E 5MT (DD4) is the manual-gearbox grade of the second-generation compact MPV, developed for Indonesia and sold in international markets from 2014. A 1.5 L four-cylinder gives 145 N m to the front wheels. It is a seven-seat family car with a high ground clearance of 189 mm.

STORY

The Honda Mobilio is a compact MPV first sold in Japan from 2001 on the Fit-derived GB platform with a tall body and sliding doors. The nameplate was revived in 2014 for emerging markets, notably Indonesia, based on the Brio platform as a low-cost seven-seater. The two generations served quite different markets.
