N-One Premium Tourer

1st gen (JG1/JG2) · 2012–2020FWD

The Premium Tourer was the turbo grade of the first-generation N-One, sold in Japan from 2012 to 2020. A 0.66 L three-cylinder makes 64 PS through an automatic gearbox to the front wheels. It was the performance-minded, better-equipped choice of the original, which took retro Honda N360 styling cues.

STORY

The N-One is a Honda kei hatchback, the third model of the N series after the N Box and N Box Plus. Honda announced it on 1 November 2012 and put it on sale on 2 November, taking the 1967 N360 as its motif and rating the front-drive non-turbo grades at 27.0 km/L on the JC08 cycle. The first generation (JG1 and JG2) ran for eight years. The second generation (JG3 and JG4) was announced on 19 November 2020 and sold from 20 November, its RS grade pairing a front-drive turbo engine with a six-speed manual at 1,999,800 yen including tax. Honda also gave the second generation adaptive cruise control and lane keeping on manual cars, and called both firsts among kei cars, by its own survey as of November 2020.
