The EX added equipment to the first-generation US Odyssey in 1995 and 1996, with the same 2.2 L four-cylinder, front-wheel drive and four-speed automatic as the LX. The hinged rear doors and Accord-based platform defined this early minivan, which Honda sold in the US before the sliding-door redesign of 1999.
