STORY

Orthia was a compact wagon sold only in Japan. Honda announced it on 21 February 1996 and sold it from 1 March as the Orthia P at Primo stores and the Orthia V at Verno stores, so one car carried two names by channel. Honda's keyword was Sport Utility Wagon. The range had a 1.8 litre DOHC and a new 2.0 litre DOHC rated 145 PS, with a real-time 4WD using a dual-pump system. A 2.0GX Aero grade was added on 23 January 1998, and Honda's archive lists a second series from June 1999 until 2002. The commercial Partner van was a separate vehicle sold at all Honda dealers rather than an Orthia.
