STORY

Honda first sold the Passport in the United States in 1993 as a 1994 model. It was a rebadged Isuzu Rodeo built by Subaru Isuzu Automotive in Lafayette, Indiana, and two generations were sold through 2002. Honda revived the name for the 2019 model year with a different vehicle, a two-row SUV designed by Honda's North American teams and built at its Lincoln, Alabama plant, shown at the Los Angeles show on November 27, 2018 with a 280-horsepower 3.5-liter V6. The fourth-generation 2026 Passport, announced on November 13, 2024, added a TrailSport Elite trim and was due at dealers in early 2025.
