For the United States, the sixth-generation Prelude returns as a hybrid coupe. A 2.0-litre four-cylinder works with electric motors in Honda's e:HEV system for about 200 hp, with front-wheel drive and an e-CVT. Honda's S+ Shift mode simulates gear changes, giving a sportier feel than the earlier VTEC cars.
