STORY
StepWGN was announced on 8 May 1996 and sold from 10 May as the third model of Honda's Creative Mover series, an FF box minivan with one 2.0 litre DOHC engine rated 125 PS and one of the largest cabins among 5-number cars. The second generation followed on 6 April 2001 with a 160 PS i-VTEC engine. The third (27 May 2005) offered a flooring-type floor in the second and third rows, a first for a passenger minivan, as a factory option on some front-drive grades. The fourth (9 October 2009) was the first in its class (5-number 2.0 litre, 1,800 mm or taller, eight seats, by Honda's survey) with third-row seats that fold under the floor. The fifth, on sale 24 April 2015, brought Honda's first 1.5 litre direct-injection VTEC Turbo and the Waku Waku Gate tailgate, and gained a hybrid SPADA in 2017. The sixth went on sale on 27 May 2022.
