The Honda Vezel is a compact crossover SUV introduced in Japan on 20 December 2013, sharing its basis with the Fit and called HR-V in many other markets. The first generation, coded RU, used a 1.5 L petrol engine and a 1.5 L i-DCD hybrid with a dual-clutch gearbox, plus a turbocharged Touring grade late in its life, and it was facelifted in February 2018. The second generation, coded RV, was unveiled on 18 February 2021 and went on sale in Japan on 22 April 2021, with a 1.5 L petrol engine and a two-motor e:HEV hybrid. A facelift followed in 2024, and the PLaY and HuNT packages appear among its later grades. Both generations offer front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive.
The Vezel is Honda's compact crossover SUV, sold in Japan since 2013 and known as the HR-V in many other markets. It has been built in two generations and offered with petrol and hybrid powertrains, in front-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive form.
