The RS CVT is the petrol version of the second-generation global WR-V, on sale from 2023. A 1.5 L four-cylinder makes 145 N m, with a CVT and front-wheel drive. RS is the sportier-named grade of this compact SUV, which sits alongside other trims of the same generation.

STORY

The WR-V name has been used for more than one car. The first, a crossover derived from the third-generation Fit/Jazz, was shown at the 2016 Sao Paulo show and launched in Brazil and India in March 2017, in India on 16 March. A new WR-V, a small SUV with a 1.5 litre engine, premiered in Indonesia on 2 November 2022. Japan received a WR-V on sale from 22 March 2024, priced from 2,098,800 yen, which is the India-built Elevate under another name. For the Japanese model, Honda says the name stands for Winsome Runabout Vehicle.
