Revealed in January 2020 and on sale from August 2020, the H9 is Hongqi's full-size petrol sedan. It is the closest thing in the modern range to the ceremonial cars of the CA era without being a hand-built limousine. It is a long four-door with a 2.0-liter turbo four or a supercharged 3.0-liter V6, a tall upright grille and a rear compartment made for chauffeur use.
The H9 is Hongqi's full-size flagship luxury sedan, launched in 2020 as the top of the brand's consumer range beneath the ultra-exclusive L5. Its long-hood, upright-grille design recalls classic state limousines, while modern turbocharged engines provide smooth power. The lavish cabin has extensive leather, wood and rear-seat luxury for senior officials and wealthy private owners. The H9 shows Hongqi's ambition to rival established global luxury sedans.
