STORY
The HS3 is Hongqi's compact petrol SUV, launched in China in July 2023 as the entry point to the brand's crossover range beneath the HS5 and HS7. It has a turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine and front-wheel drive, and adapts the marque's vertical grille to a smaller, more affordable package. Its job is volume: it gives Hongqi a presence in China's most heavily contested SUV class.
