The Hummer H3 was a mid-size SUV sold in 2005-2010. It was built in Shreveport, Louisiana, among other plants, on the same platform as the Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon pickups. The first engine was a 3.5-litre five-cylinder with 220 hp, replaced in 2007 by a 3.7-litre five-cylinder. From 2008 the H3 Alpha had a 5.3-litre V8 with 300 hp. General Motors shut the Hummer brand down in 2010, and the last H3T was built in Shreveport on 24 May 2010.
