Galloper 2.5 TD

STORY

Hyundai Precision built the Galloper under licence from the first-generation Mitsubishi Pajero, and the car was introduced at the Seoul Hyatt Hotel on 25 September 1991. The launch version used a 2.5-litre diesel rated at 73 PS, with a turbodiesel and a 3.0-litre V6 petrol added soon afterwards. Within about a year it was the best-selling SUV in Korea, and in 1992 it held roughly 52 percent of the segment. A facelifted New Galloper arrived in 1994 and the revised Galloper II in 1997. Production ended in December 2003 or January 2004, depending on the source.
