STORY

Hyundai unveiled the Ioniq 9 in November 2024, ahead of the Los Angeles Auto Show, as a three-row electric SUV for up to seven occupants. It carries a 110.3 kWh battery, and Hyundai quoted up to 620 km WLTP for the rear-drive version. Production at the new Metaplant America in Georgia was announced as under way on 26 March 2025, and US dealers were due to receive the 2026 model in early May 2025. At launch the rear-drive S was priced at 60,555 dollars including destination and rated at 335 miles by the EPA, and the car has a native NACS charging port.
