STORY

Santamo was Hyundai's mid-size MPV, produced in Korea from the mid-1990s to 2002 on the second-generation Mitsubishi Chariot, the car sold in Europe as the Space Wagon. The name is an acronym for safety and talented motor. Mitsubishi built that Chariot in Japan from 1991 to 1997, so the Korean version outlived its source car by five years. Hyundai discontinued the Santamo in October 2002.
