STORY

The Stellar was a rear-wheel-drive mid-size sedan produced from 1983 into the 1990s, styled by Giugiaro and based on Ford Cortina underpinnings with Mitsubishi engines. It served as Hyundai's family sedan above the Pony and was exported to markets including Canada and Europe. It was effectively succeeded by the Sonata.
